Mall Description
Plaza Singapura was the first multi-storey shopping mall
to be built in Singapore. It first opened in 1974 and
is a landmark along Orchard Road’s Shopping Belt.
In 1997, the mall was closed for major retrofitting
work before re-opening again in December 1998.
In 2002 and 2003, the mall underwent revamp and re-positioning
as a One-stop Urban Mall appealing to families & young
adults with emphasis on Fashion, Food & Entertainment.
Plaza Singapura is easily accessible via public transport.
Being situated above the largest MRT interchange at Dhoby
Ghaut, it enjoys superior connectivity with the rest
of the island via the North-East, North-South, and future
Circle Line.
